Scandinavian Philology – en ny publiceringskanal

Scandinavian Philology är en tidskrift som ges ut av Sankt Petersburgs statliga universitet (Sankt Petersburg, Ryssland) två gånger om året. Den tar upp ämnen som nordiska språk, litteratur i Norden, kultur i Norden samt kulturförbindelser mellan Norden och andra länder, översättning (från eller till de nordiska språken) i teori och praktik.

New journal: Kyngervi – Call for Submissions

Kyngervi, meaning ‘gender’ in Icelandic, is a new journal in Viking and Medieval Scandinavian Studies with a focus primarily on gender and queer studies, but also taking a broader consideration of studies of ‘the Other’ – we aim to bring the marginalized to the forefront. We therefore also center race, disability, human/animal studies, and other related themes. Kyngervi is double-blind peer reviewed, run by students, for students to showcase their work.

Theatralia: “Ingmar Bergman Recontexted”

The peer-reviewed journal Theatralia (published by Masaryk University, Czech Republic) announces a call for the issue Spring 2019: "Ingmar Bergman Recontexted". Abstract deadline is 31 May 2018. Deadline for final submission is 30 September 2018.
